Who can join?
A prerequisite to be a member of CPCL is already being a member of an approved social club. Contact our committee to check if your member club is already approved or to request it be approved.
Who is CPCL for?
When talking about CPCL, a quote from one of our committee members gives you the flavour:
“CPCL is not for ordinary mortals. Hard-Core TT crazy folks who can travel that extra mile for a day of TT.”
We have six seasons every year additionally one mega event IPL style with auction of players etc.
Each season is held on a Sunday. Schedule is available here.
Every season the format is changed to give variety and to throw up new winners.
Primarily a team event with currently two classifications of players “Elite” & “Pro“.
All seasons are held at an air conditioned venue with computerized scoring and results available online. Lunch and drinks are typically provided as well. Optionally In the evening for those who stay we also tend to have fellowship events.
For the past few seasons we have also provided custom T-shirts for all members thanks to the generosity of some of our members.
Live streaming of the seasons and press coverage for the events are also typically arranged. Browse our website to see the recently concluded Season-3 & Season-4 links.
Currently members pay their annual membership fees and do not have to pay any additional fees for the seasons.
Do I have to be an advanced TT player to join CPCL?
You do not have to be an expert TT player to join CPCL but you must be passionate about TT and have some minimum ability to play Table Tennis at a reasonable level. We have currently two categories of players. Elite for the advanced players and Pro for the Intermediate level players. We do not currently have an option for beginner level players.
